 -size: small;">Access is via Upper Moutere, Dovedale and Thorpe and cross t
 he bridge over the Motueka R. just north of Woodstock, then follow the grav
 el road on the true left of the Baton River for about 10 km to the Ellis Ri
 ver turn-off. Ford the Baton here. A high clearance 4WD is required. The ro
 ad is a track and can be driven as far as the suspension bridge and park be
 nch/picnic table at the Haines Stream confluence.&nbsp;Park vehicles here a
 nd cross the swing bridge to follow the well signed track on the true left 
 of the Baton.</div><div style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial, Helvetic
 a, sans-serif; font-size: small;">Track initially easy going on good track,
  with lovely views of the river, but gradually becoming more demanding.&nbs
 p;<span style="caret-color: auto;">The area is extremely attractive and app

 e at the junction to Loveridge Spur track.</div><div></div><div style="colo

 his will be a “wet-boot” trip as there are several crossings of the Baton n
 eeded.</div><div></div><div>Please note, this trip is very weather dependan
 t, due to the number of river crossings and the need to ford the river in v
