 Sandy & Robin Toy are passionate about conserving Kahurangi National Park a
 nd have been actively involved with the volunteer group Friends of Flora si
 nce 2010. Their recently published book Caring for Kahurangi, the inspiring
  story of Friends of Flora was awarded the 2026 New Zealand Mountain and Ad
 venture Heritage Award. In it they describe the journey of Friends of Flora
 , weaving tales of volunteer adventures, rigorous science and magical encou
 nters into an inspiring odyssey of what can be achieved with great commitme
 nt, drive and friendship. Sandy & Robin will bring this story to the Nelson
  Tramping Club in an entertaining talk beautifully illustrated with stunnin
