DESCRIPTION:<p>Day walk up Ben Nevis to enjoy above bush line terrain and views. Possib
 ility of there being snow and need for crampons - this will be assessed clo
 ser to the time. We drive via Wairoa Gorge rd and forestry track to the car
  park at 740M. A climb up Gibbs spur, steep initially and in forest, then i
 t flattens off and we are above the bush line. Peak is at 1620M so&nbsp; 88
