DESCRIPTION:It's a little while since the club visited Scotts Knob. In 2004 we had elev
 en people summit.\nGreigs Hut is accessed via the Leatham Road. Ford the Le
 atham River then follow a 4WD track for around 14km along the Branch River.
  Steep cutouts from side streams can make this track a little challenging.\
 nFriday EveningA great way to do this trip is to get into Griegs Hut on Fri
 day evening, climb Scotts Knob on Saturday, then a leisurely trip back home
  on Sunday.\nFlexibility of team members to get away from Richmond around 1
 7:00 (or earlier) will determine the viability of this option.\nSummit Day 
 (Saturday or Sunday)Leave Greigs Hut early and follow Scott Stream and cont
 inue up the head of the valley to the saddle. Turn right and climb a steepi
 sh section to the summit. 1550m climb, 14km return.\nIce axe and crampons r
