Description
Tuesday - Waitangi Day Walk up to Red Hills Hut, then follow the Maitland Ridge MTB track through to Beeby's Knob. The track passes through beech forest and clearings with views of the Rainbow and Wairau Valleys. We will finish by coming down the 4WD road to Tophouse Road. A minor car shuffle will be required. Approx 25km, may take 7-8 hours. A reasonable level of fitness required. Map Series: Topo50 BR25
