Description  

Day 1

Drive from Nelson, then a 2 hour 4WD trip to the Clarence side of the mountain. Walk about 3 hours to campsite.

Day 2

Climb Tapuae-0-Uenuku and return to campsite. Enjoy the rest of the day lounging around the campsite.

Day 3

A leisurely start today, with a pleasant walk out, 4WD and home.

Costs: There will be a vehicle access charge of $75/vehicle - plus fuel cost. 

NOTE: Good ice axe and crampons skills are essential.
