Description  

Hurray,  no heavy overnight packs to carry!

Saturday

Drive to Marfells Beach (DoC Campsite - $6.00 pp) and set up camp, then catch the low tide for a beach walk to Cape Campbell lighthouse, taking 4-5 hours.

Sunday

Pack up and head a bit further down the coast and follow Ure Road in to the start of the Sawcut Gorge track for a splash along the upper reaches of the Waima River and up a side creek to the Gorge. If the Gorge is not accessible we will do something else in the area instead.
