Description

Thursday, 25th (Anzac Day): Walk from road end, past Lake Matiri hut and up onto the lower plateau (1000 Acre) to the newly refurbished Poor Pete's hut (2 bunks) and camp. About 5 hours with a couple of river crossings and a 750m climb, some steep.

Friday, 26th: 2 to 3 hour easy trek over undulating, mostly open grassland to Larrikin Creek hut (4 bunks). Set up camp and have a look around.

Saturday, 27th: Explore the spectacular upper plateau (100 Acre - the Devil's Dining Table), The Needle or The Haystack.

Sunday, 28th: Back-track out to the cars (6-7 hours).

PLEASE NOTIFY INTENT BY SUNDAY 21st

NOTE: As hut space is limited, most people will need to carry tents.
