Description  

From the Rainbow Road (permission required & gate fee), over the Wairau River swing bridge and up Lees Creek on an easy track. 8.5km and 250m climb. Spend the night in the hut and explore further up the valley in the morning. Out same route next day. Plus $25 gate fee per car.
