Description
Beat the crowds, and take the opportunity to visit Anchorage during the quiet winter season when the hut fees are cheaper.
Saturday: Walk from Marahau to Anchorage Hut (4 hours). Drop packs there and do the Pitt Head loop, including Te Pukatea Bay.
Sunday: Visit Cleopatra's Pool. We could continue on to visit Torrent Bay if the group wishes. Optional side-trip to Observation Beach on the way back to Marahau.
You will need to make your own hut or campsite booking once your registration has been confirmed.
