Linking the Anatoki and Waingaro Tracks through the Stanley Valley, we can turn this historic track into a near loop track, with a short car shuffle. It's 3 long summer days, with Lake Stanley as a nice half way meeting point. (If wanted, we'll have a fast and a slow group. One could walk it in 3 days, and the other group can take 4 days, depending on who comes.) The track is mostly in the bush (good on hot days!), with some gorges and stream crossings, partly rough terrain, but nothing technical, long days, 7-10 hrs. Bring tents, as the huts are small and basic. Pete P has kindly offered to be the leader of the other party. see DoC description below: |

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)

VISITORS can register using their email address which will be used to send you trip registration confirmation details and the ability to cancel the trip registration. Please register each person attending separately.
