Description

Walk to Wainui Hut from Canaan Downs. A circuit can be done - take Moa Park Track up to Intersection with Evans Ridge Track of teh Inland Abel Tasman. After some time a steep track leaves from this Ridge to Wainui Hut. Enjoy lunch in the sun at Wainui Hut. Follow the Wainui Creek up to where it joins the Moa Park track and complete the circuit. It is then just a short walk back to the cars

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
