Let's summit Mt Arthur via the long way for a change, as a side trip of the Clouston Mine Circuit. Might be a bit ambitious, but do-able. Long day, but satisfying. We could split the group if there are enough people: One faster group includes the summit, the slower group walks just the mine circuit. Probably up to 9 or 10 hrs if summit is included. Early start, from Flora carpark past Flora Hut, up Clouston Mine track, Gordons Pyramid, Horseshoe Basin, Mt Arthur, Mt Arthur Hut, loop back to Flora Carpark. |

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
