DESCRIPTION:VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED. NTC has volunteered to repaint Flora Hut to give it a 
 'refresh' before the Xmas Holidays. This will include the walls, roof and t
 he chimneys (that are badly stained at present). The work will require an i
 nitial washdown before painting. The chimeys will also be given a galvanise
 d undercoat before painting. Most of the work will be done from the ground 
 with paint rollers (the walls); and from ladders for the roof and chimneys 
 - again using long-handled rollers. Brush work will be minimal if we do a g
 ood job!\nThe work needs to be spread over 2-3 days. This will probably req
 uire a 2 night stay in the Hut or in tents. Obviously good weather will be 
 essential for the work.\nAt ths stage, I am calling for expressions of inte
 rest from anyone interested in helping out. The final dates will be decided
  later but late November or early December is planned. It could be during t
 he week or over a "long" weekend - depending on what works for most peple.\
